The chapter is somewhat depressing, but it's brilliantly assembled.
Welcome to a site dedicated to understanding, rather than memorising, the great subject of medicine.

Ben Goldacre's missing chapter
Ben Goldacre's important book, Bad Science, couldn't include a chapter on the shenanigans of the infamous multivitamins charlatan, Matthias Rath - because Rath was trying to sue Goldacre. The court case has now been settled (Goldacre won, of course), and so Ben has offered up the extra chapter for free on the internet. Just click here. It really is a testament to the dangers of pseudoscience, as well as to the evil of a government not willing to see past its own biases. The cost, as always, is lives.
