I thought I'd include this amongst the 'features' as it is a wonderful example (I thought) of how understanding something, as opposed to merely memorising it, can show a topic in an entirely new, and usually much more interesting, light.
The specific story takes us on a reverse-engineering journey with haemoglobin, showing why it is structured in the way that it is by highlighting the problems such a molecule would have to overcome. I hope you like it!
